A Sauvignon Blanc Pioneer
The Brander Vineyard was founded in 1975 by Fred Brander, making it one of the winemaking pioneers of Santa Barbara County. Brander chose the south-facing site for its soil and climate, and built a reputation centered on classically styled Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux varieties.
The estate vineyard lies in the Los Olivos District AVA, with a small chateau-style tasting room among the vines. Tastings are relaxed and grape-focused, with charcuterie available.
